Pyeong Hwa Cemetery
Archdiocese of Seoul
Pyeonghwa Memorial Park Cemetery Information and Digital Memorial Hall Development
LiDAR surveying and drone scanning are used to develop GIS-based 3D spatial information for grave locations, plot ownership, facilities, and construction records.
A Digital Memorial Hall is created by linking the location and attribute information of graves and facilities, with all data managed through an integrated Digital Twin-based system.
Hydraulic and civil structures, including drainage facilities and retaining walls, are designed and managed using BIM.

GTX Subway Construction BIM
Lin Engineering Co., Ltd.
GTX D-Line Indeogwon-Anyang Section Construction BIM
Construction BIM models were developed for the tunnels and stations, followed by multidisciplinary clash detection and interference reviews.
A 4D construction scheduling system was established by linking the project schedule with BIM models, supporting schedule reviews and site management throughout the construction phase.

Lifecycle BIM Guideline Development & Application Manual Preparation
Korea Railroad Research Institute
Lifecycle BIM Guideline Development and Application Manual Preparation
Lifecycle BIM guidelines were established to ensure that BIM information produced throughout the planning, design, construction, and maintenance phases of railway infrastructure is consistently developed and utilized.
The scope of BIM application and information utilization was defined for each project phase, and a practical application manual was prepared to help professionals implement the guidelines in their workflows. This established a BIM operational framework connecting the entire lifecycle of railway infrastructure.

Design BIM Quality Verification and Improvement
Korea Railroad Research Institute
Design BIM Quality Verfication and Improvement
The quality of existing design BIM data was reviewed, and the standard design library was enhanced and restructured into an assembly library organized by major material types.
Material and component information was systematically linked to improve model usability and information accuracy. This established a 5D BIM foundation for railway construction by integrating schedule and quantity information.
2024
Standard Drawing Based Assembly Library Development
Korea Railroad Research Institute
Standard Drawing Based Assembly Library Development
Railway standard design drawings were enhanced and developed into assembly-based BIM libraries organized by major work types.
Components and related information for each work type were standardized and managed as integrated assemblies, improving modeling efficiency and consistency. This established a foundation for 4D railway construction applications by linking BIM models with construction schedules.
2024
Parametric Library R&D for Railway Standard Design Drawings
Korea Railroad Research Institute
Parametric Library R&D for Railway Standard Design Drawings
Railway standard design drawings were enhanced and developed into parametric BIM libraries.
Key dimensions and design conditions were managed as parameters, enabling rapid adaptation to changing requirements. This reduced repetitive modeling work and established a 3D BIM foundation for the systematic use of railway design information.
2023
Design Library Development
Dohwa Engineering Co., Ltd.
Design Library Development
Major facilities and components were developed as BIM 3D libraries based on standard design drawings.
Frequently used design elements were standardized as 3D objects to improve BIM modeling efficiency and consistency. This established foundational design data for future expansion into parametric and assembly-based libraries.
